(check your user manual for model/year specifics)1a. If your steering column has a small access panel on the bottom, pop it off. Locate "plunger" (button, etc.) just inside the hole and slightly to the left.

1b. If there is not a small removeable plastic piece, remove the housing around the steering wheel (this may require removing a few screws), and look for a white button directly under the steering wheel.

2. Hold it down and the key will turn with ease.
