How does a business card help you to make your business more popular?

There are many elements to a business card and quite a few different ways to make your cards stand out. One of the most extreme examples that I've seen is actually a branded item used as a business card. Jay Baer, a popular speaker and content strategist, has used a square metal bottle opener as his business card. The heft of it, combined with it's usefulness made it an unforgettable way to get his contact information out there.

For something a bit more conventional, I recommend using a business card with rounded edges and a brightly colored back side. This ensures that your card stands out on both sides, and when included in a stack of boring rectangular cards, it may be the only one that your potential client sees.
