How do change a washer for a faucet in the kitchen?

Changing a tap washer is quite easy. Making sure you have the right size washer at hand first, close off the valve feeding that tap or the main valve to the property. Depending on how the head of the tap is on the actual headpart or whether its a garden tap in which case the headpart just comes out. If there is a head on the tap, normally a small screw will be holding it on. Remove the head and the cover hiding the headpart and take the appropriate spanner and loosen the head part. Once off, take the washer off the jumper, and then place the headpart back, dont overtighten it. Cheers brad.
