Who developed television?

There were many people involved in the development of television: Philo Farnsworth Vladimir Zworykin David Sarnoff John Logie Baird This is only a partial list of the people involved. RCA and EMI-Marconi built some of the equipment used for early TV broadcasting. I believe other countries were working on television in the 1930's but I don't have the info on their operations. The BBC started limited TV broadcasting three years before the US did. The BBC Television Service in 1936 and RCA/NBC in 1939. Regular TV broadcasting began on a large scale after World War 2.
