How do you kill a good leprechaun?

you steal his gold and catch him in the pot because once you get the pot of gold he cant take it back so you catch him in that and you boil him with a lid made out of the gold once he has reached a core temperature of 120 degrees he is throughly dead
if you cant find the leprechaun use pasta and if you cant find gold use cheese and if you cant find a pot... sorry your screwed
