Why they attack The World Trade Center?

Alqaeda, a terrorist organisation lead by Osama bin Laden, officially instigated the attacks. This was done to "punish" the American people for the US government's numerous crimes and interferances in the Muslim world. However, there is a sheer mass of evidence suggesting that the attacks were an inside job, instigated by the US government itself.
