Each type of turtle has its own threat. Some of the biggest dangers

include egg poaching, being killed for their shells, getting

entangled in fishing gear, being killed for their meat, global

warming and pollution of the water they live in. However, all

turtles are threatened with extinction; at least half the turtle

population.
