Horrific animal cruetly stories

I have a Little white Maltese terier and it went missing one day, we looked everywhere we could for it but to no avail. that night we got a call from a veterinary clinic not to far away to let us know that some one had brought in our dog to them (she was tagged wit an identity chip) It turned out that she was taken from over the fence of our front yard, which would have been easy to do because she loved every one. and taken to a clearing about a kilometer away where she was doused with petrol or lighter fluid and set alight. some one found her still alive and the vet contacted us, as it turned out we saved her with a lot of care and time. believe me looking after an animal that is so badly burned is not my Idea of fun. However she is still her old self. and would probably fall into the same trap again. I will never understand what type of sick idiot would even think of doing something like this to any living thing.
