His mother was a tool maker. Some say Nikola got his invention and his IQ from his mother. If his mother saw a job to be done and there were no tools, she invented them. In Nikola labs he would use the tools of the era. He would not make his own tools different from the rest because he needed his inventions per se to be made with bolts and nuts of the time.
