What the setting of a clean and well lighted place?

The setting in this short story is key, there isn't much more in this story going on. The only thing about the setting in this story that we know, is that it takes place in a café, a clean well-lighted cafe. It's a nice, pleasant, welcoming café, and the light creates the shadows of leaves at night. Its quite and late at night. There are only two waiters and the only customer they have is the old man. We don't know what time of year or where in the world this story takes place.
