Burmese pythons, being apex predators themselves, have few natural predators in their native habitats. However, young pythons may be preyed upon by larger Birds of Prey, crocodiles, and large mammals. In their introduced ranges, such as Florida, they face threats from humans and other large predators like alligators. Overall, adult Burmese pythons are largely free from natural predation due to their size and strength.
