"Does" doesn't work in that question. If you meant to add the Word "mean" at the end of that question, then that line means that the person talking loves the other more than the moon loves the night. I would imagine this is meant to read as if the moon and night's love is almost legendary, in which case the person talking would be saying their love is so passionate and true that it could be legendary.
