Why did they shut down piczo for kids?

The running costs of the website were too much and they could not find a way to pay for the websites running costs for the end of the year so they had no choice but to shut down until further notice.

They hope to raise it once again but in all honesty I doubt this is going to happen with the way social networking is these days, there really is no need or demand for websites like piczo :(
