My xbox 360 doesn't play my games anymore it will read the game then say open tray?

Sounds like a hardware error. Mine does that too and the xbox cant detect it so you don't get the "red ring of death". It's nothing that can be fixed unless you're a technician so I suggest calling tech support to see if you are still under warranty. If you are they'll send you a box so you can send the 360 back to them free of charge, and they either fix it... or they replace it entirely. (I sent mine in and got a USED one back for some reason... and it is having similar problems already)
