Is there even a Habbo retro that works and has pets?

There actually is, but you need to look hard. iSpaz is okay, but it's now called DemonHotel and I haven't heard if there has been any recent changes. You could try YoHabbo, I suggest it as they're bringing Pets out soon. Rollers will also be released - One thing it does have is really good staff! Hope this helps many just a teeny bit?
