Why do lotus grow in the mud?

It will grow in the mud ,because. If you will put or plant it in the mud, the mud will be clean. And even though it is planted in the mud it is still fragnant... so many like the flowers, especially in Korea the Lotus flowers is very famous. It is famous especially for lovers because they considered is as the sweetest flower they ever see.
