How do you take care of tiger Oscars?

First of all you should have a 30 gallon tank or larger. If it is a small Oscar feed it pellets or small feeder fish. When it gets bigger, 10-12 inches, you can feed it large feeder fish and pellets. Make sure to have a heater, a thermometer, an air pump, gravel, and some decorations. Your Oscar may do good with other larger fish but never anything smaller than 2 inches. The only disease your Oscar can get is hole in the head disease. Oscars are very intelligent fish, do not underestimate them. Make sure you always have a tight fitting top so your Oscar won't jump out. Remarkably, Oscars can recognize their owners, even their own name! Oscars are very fun to keep and I would recommend getting one. Oh one other thing, get 1 Oscar or get 5 or more because more than one and less than 5 Oscars will fight and 1 or 2 Oscars may die.
