How long is the effect of oxycodone?

Well, I've been taking 80mg of oxycodone 3 times a day for 4 years now. Sometimes it takes an hour, other times it seems to even take up to 2 hours. I think it just depends on how much you are eating before you take it. If you take it on an empty stomach it seems to hit you quicker, if you just had your lunch it may take longer.
