How do you remove the speakers from a 2000 Tahoe?

on the front doors, start by removing the (2) 7mm screws, one located under the armrest and the other located behing the door lock. you'll have to pop that off to get to it. then remove the triangular piece towards the front of the panel. then you'll have to remove the plastic piece around the door handle. remove the switch panel and unplug the harnesses. then lift up on the door panel and unplug the door light from the backside. with a flathead screwdriver press down on the tab at the top of the speaker and pull out towards you and your done. the rear doors are done pretty much the same. remove the 7mm screws, one located on the bottom of the panel and the other located under the armrest. pull up on the panel and unplug the window switch. remove the (4) 5mm screws from the speaker and pry it off the door.
