How do you rid snakes from basement?

Bait the snakes into a corner with peanut butter. Stanby with gasoline and matches in hand. After snakes are successfully baited, take a swig of gasoline- filling your mouth with it (careful not to swallow). Then strike a match and spit gasoline, ensuring that the flame is thrown in the direction of the snakes. Problem solved.
