The Black Hand was a secret Serbian nationalist organization involved in the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria in 1914. The main conspirators included Gavrilo Princip, Nedeljko Cabrinovic, Trifko Grabez, Vaso Cubrilovic, Danilo Ilic, and two others, who were part of the group orchestrating the attack. Princip ultimately fired the fatal shots, while Cabrinovic attempted to throw a bomb that missed its target. Their actions were motivated by a desire for Serbian nationalism and opposition to Austro-Hungarian rule.
