My BMW makes a whining sound in second gear as you start to accelorate like a wheel bearing noise but goes when you push your foot nearer to the floor?

I had a siminlar problem. It had to do with the belt tensioner. They refused to fixed it I just kept complaining until this changed it. Now my car sounds greats now!
