How can you be a wolf in Zelda Twilight Princess?

If you didn't already get the Master SWord, then you can only be a wolf when you first transform into one and when you are turned into one by the twilight when you enter a new area. If you DO have the Master SWord, then just press Z for GC version and up on the D-pad for Wii version and choose it.
