Who is Megan smith?

Megan Smith is an American engineer, entrepreneur, and former government official who served as the Chief Technology Officer of the United States from 2014 to 2017 under President Barack Obama. She is known for her work in advancing technology and innovation policy, as well as promoting diversity in STEM fields. Prior to her role as CTO, Smith was a vice president at google, where she worked on various projects, including google X. She is also a co-founder of the technology company PlanetOut and has been involved in several initiatives to support women in tech.
