How do you change fan belt on john deere 4020?

hi, i recently purchased an old JD 524. To remove the old belts you have to "split the snowblower between the impellers (round part) and the housing that covers the drive gears. (square part).There are 4 bolts you need to remove, 2 upper and 2 lower , Also you will need to take the bottom cover off to get on the nuts for these bolts, after you remove them and a pesky spring that is in there, the blower will split into 2 parts. Once split you should be able to get the belts out. I havent put new ones in yet so youre on your own for that one, but should be able to go in the way they came out. good luck
