How do you make a paper mache bald eagle?

Chicken wire makes a suitable frame for Papier-mâché. The openings can be a bit large though, so you might want to use welded wire mesh. Typically, you would use balloons for rounded area, but with the wire frame, you might want to consider foam balls instead.

Picture the rounded area of the body and form these around balls as well. Then cut and cinch up the other areas and use light wire to sew up seams. Apply your Papier-mâché as you normally would.
