Is horse riding more dangerous than drugs?

When you think about it, all animals/ sports can be dangerous, and have risks. But if you know what you are doing, than injury is less likely. Horses are large, powerful animals and can do unexpected things, so you always need to be careful. There is no such thing as a perfectly safe horse.

Unfortunately, childen think horses are lovely creatures, and they are. However, they are also extremely dangerous animals when they react instinctively. To control one takes courage and often strength. Some rules to observe around horses :

* Don't walk directly behind a horse.

* Don't be too quiet or nervous around one (they can sense this).

* Never show a horse that you are scared of it.

* Don't ride alone.

* Always be alert

When it comes down to it, you have to beware that they can be very dangerous.
