How do you disable the seatbelt alarm on a 2007 GMC Sierra?

Note - this is from what I've researched. I'm getting ready to buy an '08 Tahoe and I have the same question. From what I understand, it's very simple. There is a plug that runs underneath the driver's seat, and you simply unplug that cable at the connector. The guy had an '07 Tahoe and he said it stopped the seatbelt chime.

Or ask the dealer for seatbelt extenders and leave the extenders plugged in. That's what I did in my 07 Sierra. Dealer ship gave me the extenders free when I bought the truck. Probably because I looked like I needed them.
