Emu mating ritual

Emu mating rituals involve elaborate displays by males to attract females. During courtship, males perform a series of dances that include puffing up their feathers, making low booming calls, and engaging in various movements to showcase their strength and vitality. Once a female is impressed, she may approach and mate with the male, after which the female typically lays eggs in a nest built by the male. He then takes on the responsibility of incubating the eggs and caring for the chicks after they hatch.
