Where are the Amarillo mountains?

The so named Amarillo Mountains are a range of granite mountains that run from northwest to southeast thru the Amarillo, TX area. They lie completely underground and are covered by younger layers of rock. They form the basis of the Texas Panhandle oil and gas fields.
