St. Therese of Lisieux, often referred to as "The Little Flower," was born in Alençon, France, on January 2, 1873. She became a Carmelite nun and is known for her profound spirituality and the "Little Way" of approaching God through small acts of love and trust. Her life and writings have inspired many, leading to her canonization in 1925.
