What fish are best for a 10 gallon tank?

Provided you have a combined heater/thermostat, thermometer, and filter and the tank is set up with substrate, plants and lights, you could have fish from many species in your little aquarium. Many small Tetras come to mind as do several small Gouramies, small DaniOS and even some of the small Cichlids like Rams. The rule to remember is 1" of fish needs 1 gallon of water so that you don't overstock and have disease and other problems.
