Can cats give birth on their own?

Their...not there...! Also there's another one that you shouldn't get mixed up... they're. All different things to be used for different situations. Like Your and You're..... Learn English please ;)

Also, the mother cat does leave her kittens to look for food and the like. More so as the kittens get older and more capable of looking out for themselves.
