Virtually all modern vehicles with an automatic transmission require the transmission pan be unbolted and removed to drain and replace the Transmission Fluid. This can best accomplished by a trained mechanic/technician using a lift and a large oil collector funnel. The technician will check the transmission components for wear, adjust/replace any parts, change the internal filter, and replace the transmission gasket and fluid. This is not a job for a "weekend" mechanic, and depending on the vehicles mileage and use, may be performed between 25,000 and 50,000 miles -- check your owners manual for recommendations. I would suggest a Jaguar dealership perform this service.
