Characteristics of Athena

Athena, the Greek Goddess, was most known for her wisdom. She was pictured with brown hair, a battle helmet, and war armor. She would also sometimes have an owl by her side or on her shoulder. She's the greek goddess of war, strategy, and wisdom, and different than Ares, who is the greek god of violent war, not strategic war. The birth of Athena is also pretty interesting, she popped out of Zeus' head (when Hephaestus chopped it open) and she was dressed in completely battle armor. She is the daughter of Metis and Zeus, because Zeus swallowed Metis whole (that's another story) and then eventually, Athena came to be.
