Waterproofing new leather boots

The holy grail of leather waterproofers is SNO-SEAL, but it will make your boots look shinier and darker. Reviews on waterproofing that do not change the color or feel of your boots have mixed reviews. I am trying to research the best ones and haven't really found the best one for myself, but you could check out the "Granger G-Max Footwear Universal Waterproofer" (it is on Amazon) since the reviews specifically say that it does not change the boots.
