Where did Paul Gauguin live most of his life?

He lived in Paris, in Copenhagen, in Tahiti and finally on one of the Marquesas Islands.

Paul Gauguin lived in Papeete on the island of Tahiti in the Society Islands, and later in Atuona on the island of Hiva Oa in the Marquesas, where he died. Both of these are in the country of French Polynesia.
