the other Word for pancake is used throughout Germany and France people may call it flat cake or splat pan but the true and only one i t is ............. pancakies or crepes

in Romania they call it - CLATITE; in Slovakia they call it - PALACINKA;

in Iceland they call it - pönnukaka and in Belarusian - блін :)
