Best free online IQ test

It is hard to answer that one seriously. I am tempted to point out that all online IQ tests are Pass/Fail. If you do not take them

• you've passed! (And if you calculate the length of time just to

take the surveys and questionaires, versus the quality of the test you'll then get, you'll see that's a serious answer!)

However, if you really need to take an IQ test, I would look up what the standard IQ tests given offline are. Then find a site in which they'll send you that one, along with instructions as to how to take it.

MENSA, an organization of higher IQ'd people, would probably be a good place to start. There are also such groups as the Triple Nines and the Prometheus Society. I warn that with some of these groups, you will find a large difference between the "feel good" IQ tests that abound on the net, and real ones.

While MENSA is relatively easy for anyone in the 98th percentile to qualify for, Triple Nine means you are in the 99.9th percentile. And I believe the Prometheus Society is even stricter, with it taking being in the 99.997th percentile to qualify. The PARS society, and the OLYMPIQ society require that you be in the 99.99997th percentile.
