How did the March 2011 Japan earthquake affect people's lives?

It ruined their homes, the stores, their people, and their lives.

Many towns along the coastal regions were completely destroyed. The death of friends, family, and local people caused upset in the survivors. There were those who after getting to safe ground from the earthquake, died because they had nowhere to run from the tsunami. There was a nuclear panic after a nuclear power plant went down. The people feared radiation poisoning from the leakage or radiation into the water.
