The American buffalo, or bison, adapts to seasonal changes through its thick fur, which insulates it during harsh winters and sheds in warmer months to keep it cool. In addition, they migrate to find food and water sources as seasons change, often moving to lower elevations during winter. Their diet also shifts with the seasons, as they graze on different grasses and plants that are available throughout the year. This adaptability helps them survive in diverse habitats across North America.
