If you have a deep freezer and a refrigerator that need to be stored can they be put in a non-climate controlled facility?

These products should be raised on a pallet about 5 - 6 inches high for circulation and protection. Usually warmer air is better than damp. If you are going to store the deep freezer and refrigerator at home, put on a pallet as I mentioned to raise off the floor to give good air flow and to keep it from damage, cover with a mover's blanket or an old thick blanket you may have and use broad binding wire to secure so no children can be caught in a freezer or refrigerator.

You will want to secure the door in a slightly open position with a wedge of foam or cardboard. This will keep the refrigerator from developing a smell that makes it unusable.
