How do you clear the diagnostic code on a 1995 Nissan Altima?

small panel on right side of gas pedal pull it off computer is silver box look for flathead screw turn on ignition (dont start) turn screw all the way counter clockwise and then clockwise turning screw from one stop to the other be sure that you completely turn it both ways until it stops or computer might just do a self diognostic test but not reset any codes
