What can an lion eat besides a hawk and what do lions eat?

Lions eat meat so they are carnivores. They chase zebras, deer, buffalo, hyenas;anything they can kill. They have also attacked elephants but in groups. lions will pounce on their prey they can kill elepants by jumping on them and scratching and biting into them. They pounce on smaller prey like zebras, if they can catch them.
