The Area of a circle is pi(r)^2.

So the area (2500) is equal to the radius squared, times pi. (I don't have a scientific calculator on hand so pi is going to be estimated.

2500 = (r^2)(3.14159) [next, divide both sides of the equation by pi (3.14159)]

795.7 = r^2 [take the square root of both sides of the equation]

28.2 = r [this number is approximate, due to my inexact estimate of pi]
