How do you tame a Quaker parrot to get on your finger Eats out of hand?

first wear gloves for safety pick the bird up put him on your finger and hold him there and feed him and pet him that's what i used to do to my birds and after that they stood on my hands without me holding them there. Hope this worked for you :)
