Is it legal for a 14 year old to drive a 49cc gas scooter?

Check with your state rules, but here in Kansas at age 14 you can legally drive any scooter (motorcycle "whatever you wanna call it") as long as it is 49cc or less. Also you have to have all street vehicle features such as:

head lights, turn signals, brake light.. etc.
