Who is the protagonist of thirteen reasons why?

Depending on the way you think about it, the protagonist could be Hannah or Clay. The antagonist of Hannah would be her depression or the people who caused her to think taking her life was her only escape. For Clay the antagonist would be his fear that something he did was one of the thirteen reasons why Hannah committed suicide.
