How many years until the Giant panda will be extinct?

Giant Pandas have been the target of poaching and hunters since at least the 1930's. It wasn't until the 1990's that laws were passed that started to protect the pandas. There are 239 captive pandas throughout the world, and an estimated number between 1,500 to 3,000 in the wild.
