What is technical singing?

Technical singing focuses on one's pitch, range, vibrato, registers, and several other techniques used during singing. Technical singing comes from the Word technique. Technical singing is important in a singer (whether Opera, musical theatre, jazz) because technical singing provides a more natural sound and conserves your voice for a longer period of time.

A lot of people can be great singers but not know all of technical singing. Technical singing is what makes the difference between a good singer and a fantastic singer.

Extremely good technical singers are Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Beyonce. These women use the rules of technical singing and apply them to their songs.
